NFTScan supports the upcoming Ethereum merge

The Ethereum mainnet is expected to merge with the Beacon Chain (The Merge) on September 15, 2022, upgrading from a PoW consensus mechanism to a PoS consensus mechanism. The specific time of the merge is when the TTD value reaches 58750000000000000000000 .

The merger and upgrade will be triggered at 10:00 on September 15, 2022.

The actual merge time will be slightly adjusted according to network conditions, you can view the merge countdown,

NFTScan’s stance on the Ethereum merger and upgrade as follows:
NFTScan, as one of the professional NFT data infrastructures, will fully support the Ethereum merger and upgrade, and continue to provide high-quality NFT data retrieval services to the Ethereum community developers and user groups. NFTScan does not support the PoW fork chain that may be generated in the process of this merger and upgrade, so we hope developers are aware of this.

NFTScan’s adjustment during the Ethereum merger and upgrade as follows:One hour before the merger and upgrade, NFTScan will suspend the parsing of NFT-related data carried by the latest blocks. In addition, on the NFTScan browser side, the data of the latest minting, real-time transactions and other related sectors will be temporarily updated, please be aware of the NFTScan browser user community.

After the end of the Ethereum merger and upgrade, NFTScan will synchronize the data to the latest block height and the explorer can be used normally, thanks for your understanding and support.

Finally, NFTScan developer team wishes the success of The Merge!
